Girl Fishing
Since 1986, the Connecticut Aquatic Resource Education (CARE) program has been training and partnering with volunteers in order to conduct FREE introduction classes around the state.  Let CARE introduce you and your family to the wonderful world of fishing.

Introductory Fishing Course
  • This course requires taking a two hour class at the Westbrook Town Hall and then 2 hours of fishing at the Westbrook High School Pond.
  • No equipment or bait needed, everything is provided and FREE for use by all participants.
  • Advance registration is required, a minimum of 15 participants for the program to run.
